BidFast

How it works

Voice note to signed proposal in 90 seconds

No templates. No typing. No fumbling with forms at the job site.

01

Describe the job

Voice or text — your choice

Open BidFast, hit record. Describe the job as you'd explain it to a helper. "Single-story exterior repaint, 1,800 square feet, one color, no prep issues except some peeling around the fascia." That's enough.

BidFast uses Whisper AI tuned for trade vocabulary. Accuracy on painting, pest control, cleaning, and pressure washing terminology: 85–90%. Audio is deleted immediately after transcription — no recordings stored.

02

AI builds the scope

GPT-4o extracts line items from your description

Your voice note becomes a structured scope: materials, labor, prep work, special conditions. Each line item is labeled and editable. Nothing is hidden.

Trade-specific prompt engineering extracts the right items for your trade type. Painting gets different scope logic than pest control. You review everything before it goes out — AI builds the first draft, you own the final version.

Pricing calibrates to your market

Local rates, not national averages

When you set up BidFast, you answer 3–5 questions: your trade type, zip code, and 3 recent job prices. That seeds your local pricing model. Over time, the model improves as more operators in your area use BidFast.

This is the crowdsourced flywheel. At 100+ operators in a metro area, pricing intelligence becomes a real competitive advantage — you're pricing based on what actually wins jobs in your market, not RS Means national averages.

Legal compliance auto-inserted

35 states covered at launch

California requires a 3-day right of rescission notice on work over $750. Texas has different contractor disclosure rules. BidFast knows your state and inserts the correct language automatically.

Built with a 35-state compliance template library — $15–30K to build properly, verified by legal review. This is the hardest part of BidFast to replicate. No competitor has shipped this for soft-service operators.

The compliance layer competitors can't copy

Building the 35-state compliance library costs $15–30K in legal review. It takes 6–12 months. No competitor has done it for soft-service operators.

Right of rescission

Required in most states for work over a certain threshold. State-specific amounts and timelines.

Contractor disclosures

License number, bond information, and liability insurance disclosure required in many states.

Lien rights notice

Preliminary notice requirements vary by state. Missing them can void lien rights.
